Stop Doing Tasks You Hate Already Outource Them

Improving your business isn’t just about improving your profits.

It’s also about creating the ideal business for you.

This is why you should take steps towards avoiding all the tasks you hate!

Everyone has to do things they don’t always enjoy in their business, but the more your business grows, the more opportunity you’ll get to eliminate them completely.

There Are Two Ways To Stop Doing Tasks You Hate:

  1. You can outsource those tasks to someone else (start small if your budget is limited and keep increasing the amount you outsource as you go).
  1. You can eliminate those tasks from your business. This second option isn’t always feasible, for example with day-to-day admin tasks, but if you’re not enjoying something it could be a sign that your business needs to move in a new direction.

pick a passion build a business

I love the way Chris Ducker puts it in his post here about outsourcing. He states that you should build yourself a team if you expect to grow your business.

You can’t and shouldn’t do everything yourself.

Yes, at first you will have to, but as soon as you are making a decent profit you need to be analyzing your business and outsourcing what you can. This will free up your time to grow your business.

You need to be the visionary for your company. Not the secretary!

Here Is a List of Tasks to Think About Outsourcing or Eliminating:

  • Reading and responding to emails
  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Answering phone calls
  • Creating Powerpoint presentations
  • Document formatting
  • Blog commenting
  • Content creation
  • Data organization in the cloud
  • Transcription of video and audio
  • Online research
  • Bookkeeping
  • Documenting Operating Procedures
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Recruiting Affiliates
  • Upload videos on YouTube
  • Email marketing management
  • Creating graphics
  • Keyword Research
  • Competitor analysis

And the list can go on and on and on…..

Take a few minutes to write down EVERYTHING you can think of that your business requires.

Write down all the tasks you do and narrow it down to the things that ONLY you can do.

The tasks that are left on your list, start writing down some training procedures and expectations so that you can pass it on and outsource it as soon as your funds allow.

That is the only way you will be able to scale your business and see growth long-term!
